Now hiring: VMC operator (Maine)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Knox County, Maine. You will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
