Panel wireman — Oxfordshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel wireman in Oxfordshire, England. The job is at a busy electrical contractor. Day to day you will fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels; pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB. Ideal candidate: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
