Rebar fixer — Cochran County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Cochran County, Texas. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Six days a week, one day off.
