Elevator service technician — Lawrence County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Lawrence County, Arkansas. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Rotating shifts. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
