We are recruiting: bakery assistant (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Clay County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
