Dozer operator — Lanier County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dozer operator in Lanier County, Georgia. You will work at an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
