The role involves measure rope tension and check for broken strands; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
