Urgent requirement: CO2 welder (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Buchanan County, Iowa. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
