Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Saint Louis County, Missouri. The job is in a job-work machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Rotating shifts.
