Toolroom milling operator — Dare County

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Dare County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Full-time with occasional weekends.
