Panel welder wanted in Medway

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Medway, England. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. You will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,950 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
