Brickwork mason wanted in Pierce County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Pierce County, Nebraska. The job is on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Your main tasks: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Rotating shifts.
