Tower crane operator wanted in Ottawa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Ottawa County, Ohio. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
