Press machine operator — Alleghany County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Alleghany County, North Carolina. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; record output and downtime on the production sheet; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred We offer $220 per day plus benefits.
