Trainee butcher — Goodhue County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Goodhue County, Minnesota. You will work at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Full-time with occasional weekends.
