Overlocker operator wanted in Andrews County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Andrews County, Texas. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. On the job you will handle: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
