Bricklayer — Nganzai

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Nganzai, Borno State. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
