Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
