Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
