Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
