TIG welder — Scurry County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Scurry County, Texas. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
