Great opportunity: blocklayer (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Martin County, Indiana. You will be based on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
