Milling machine operator wanted in Grand County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Grand County, Utah. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
