Immediate opening: core maker (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Custer County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
