Painter — Midlothian

Now hiring: we are hiring a painter in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based in a factory paint shop. Your main tasks: • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Sand and fill walls before applying primer What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £2,450 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
