Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Pender County, North Carolina. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics.
