Aluminium tig welder • Jerauld County, South Dakota

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Jerauld County, South Dakota. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
