Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Mathews County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Part-time with flexible hours.
