Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Victoria County, Texas. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
