Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Jones County, Iowa. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation.
