Concrete labourer • Morris County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Morris County, Texas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Your main tasks: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
