Urgent requirement: furniture maker (Ohio)

Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Wyandot County, Ohio. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Day-to-day duties: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
