Hoist operator — Mid Ulster

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £125 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
