Argon welder • Young County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Young County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
