Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Nelson County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Day to day you will erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
