Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Washington County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches.
