Horizontal milling machine operator • Schleicher County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Schleicher County, Texas. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
