Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics 6+ years on the tools preferred.
