Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Cherokee County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Overtime paid at a premium rate.
