Structural MIG welder • Tulare County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Tulare County, California. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
