Vacancy available: sand plant operator (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Adair County, Oklahoma. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
