Immediate opening: shakeout operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Martin County, North Carolina. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle.
