We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Morgan County, Illinois. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Full-time, day shift.
