Bread and bun maker — Lee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Lee County, Illinois. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 4+ years on the tools preferred.
