Immediate opening: commercial refrigeration engineer (Colorado)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Prowers County, Colorado. You will be based at a food processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
