Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Kalkaska County, Michigan. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work You will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
