Gas appliance installer — Bath County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Bath County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. You will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
