We are recruiting: uPVC welding machine operator (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Hood County, Texas. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 6+ years on the tools preferred.
