Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Sunderland, England. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. On a typical shift you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £2,400 per project plus benefits.
