Immediate opening: we are hiring a RCC mason in Luce County, Michigan. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 6+ years on the tools preferred.
